Join your neighbors for the first Glen Meadow Connects, a new GMNA series bringing neighbors together with community leaders and resources to talk about the issues that matter to Glen Meadow.
Our first guest will be District 13 Councilmember Gay Donnell Willis, who will share updates from City Hall and our district and answer questions from Glen Meadow neighbors.

GMNA Shares | Around the Neighborhood
Take a walk and meet the Northaven Trail’s newest landscaping crew! Beginning October 2, goats and sheep will graze along the trail for about 5–7 days, helping prepare native wildflower areas for spring.
It’s a fun, family-friendly chance to see how grazing supports prairie restoration and sustainable land management. Viewing is free, with no registration needed.
The herd moves throughout the project, so check the Flock Finder Map before you go. Visit Northaven TAILS for the latest updates.
Please watch from the trail. Don’t touch the electric fence, enter the enclosure, or touch or feed the animals.
National Night Out Block Parties
October is Glen Meadow's National Night Out month. Every block gets the whole month to host its own party, on whatever day works best for your neighbors. Keep it simple or go all out, it's up to you.
Reimbursement: GMNA will reimburse up to $75 to any GMNA member who hosts a block party (one member host per party, please). Reimbursement is available to GMNA members only. Everyone in Glen Meadow is welcome to join in on the fun!
How it works:

- Plan it, host it, take pictures!
- Complete the GMNA Reimbursement Form below by Monday, November 9, to be reimbursed.
- Send your pictures to voice@glenmeadowna.org so we can share the fun with the rest of Glen Meadow.

GMNA Fall Festival
Come enjoy a fall morning with your neighbors at Glen Meadow Park on Saturday, October 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. Glen Meadow Neighborhood Association is bringing together family-friendly activities, pumpkin creativity, and a chance to catch up with the community.
Look for a bounce house, face painting, pumpkin arts and crafts, plus donuts and coffee. Halloween costumes are welcome!
Please bring a book to donate to our GMNA Little Free Library AND Little Hands Book Bank. Your contribution can help put more books in the hands of local readers.

GMNA Holiday Artists Tour
Our first Glen Meadow ArtWalk was a resounding success. Every artist had something different to offer, and neighbors made friends with people living right around the corner or one street over. It was a marvelous gathering, with about 80 neighbors coming out to enjoy the art.
Due to popular request, Glen Meadow is hosting a Holiday ArtWalk on Sunday, November 1, from 1 to 4 pm, at participating artists' homes throughout the neighborhood. Our six original artists, Martha Young, Carrie Kunkel, Amber Goodwin, Betsey Attel, and Gerda and John Reed, are all looking forward to participating again along with more Glen Meadow artists.
The event is open to all. Bring your family and friends and help us spread the word. A full map with artist addresses will be shared closer to the event.
