GMNA Volunteer Opportunities

How volunteering works at Glen Meadow?  Some volunteer needs are active right now, you'll see those listed on the volunteer page. These volunteer opportunities, let you tell us you're interested in an area, even if there's nothing to do this minute. When a need comes up in that area, we'll reach out to you directly. No commitment, no obligation, just a heads-up that you're someone we can ask.

Interested in getting involved with GMNA? Volunteer opportunities are organized by committee so you can choose the areas where you’d most like to help. Whether you have a little time or a specific skill to share, your support helps us keep Glen Meadow connected, informed, and welcoming.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee helps keep Glen Meadow residents informed, connected, and engaged through email updates, social media, website content, text reminders, and other community communications.

Communications Support
We're always looking for neighbors who enjoy writing, editing, or creating content to help keep our community connected. If you have a few hours a month to lend a hand, whether it's drafting a post, proofing a newsletter, or brainstorming ideas, let us know. We'll reach out when a need matches your interests.

Leadership & Board Support

The Leadership & Board Support team helps keep GMNA organized, financially responsible, and operating smoothly. These volunteer roles support the board with planning, records, reporting, and other behind-the-scenes work that helps the association serve Glen Meadow residents.

Board Member
As a board member, you would help guide GMNA's policies and direction, working alongside fellow neighbors to keep our community strong. It's a meaningful way to shape what Glen Meadow becomes. No single board member ever acts alone; decisions and representation are always a team effort.

Block Ambassador
We are looking for someone to pilot a small program to help neighbors get to know one another and stay better connected. We are looking for a few friendly neighbors to serve as Block Connectors for their street or a small group of homes. The role is simple: welcome new neighbors, share occasional neighborhood updates, and help encourage participation in community activities. This is not an enforcement, complaint-handling, or fundraising position. There are no required monthly meetings, and the expected time commitment is a couple hours per month. Neighbors may also serve as co-captains and share the role.
